Your Responsibilities

Content and Community Guidelines

User-Generated Content

• Your Content: You retain ownership of recipes and content you create
• License to Us: By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide our services
• Public Content: Content posted in the forum becomes public to other app users
• Marketing Usage: Public forum content may be used for promotional and marketing purposes to showcase the app and community
• Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post

Forum Community Guidelines

• Respectful Interaction: Treat all users with respect and courtesy
• No Harassment: Do not engage in harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior
• Appropriate Content: Share only content that is appropriate for all ages
• Recipe Focus: Keep forum discussions related to recipes, cooking, and veganism
• No Spam: Do not post repetitive, promotional, or irrelevant content
• Privacy Respect: Do not share personal information about yourself or others
• Pre-Moderation Notice: All content is reviewed before publication to maintain community standards
• Cooperation Required: Users must cooperate with moderation decisions and admin requests

Content Moderation

• Zero Tolerance Policy: We have zero tolerance for objectionable content that violates our guidelines
• Pre-Moderation: All forum posts and comments require admin approval before becoming visible to other users
• Automated Filtering: We use automated systems to detect and prevent submission of content containing profanity, spam, or prohibited material
• User Blocking: Users can block other users to prevent seeing their content or receiving interactions from them
• Reporting System: Users can report inappropriate content or behavior
• 24-Hour Response: We commit to reviewing and responding to all content reports within 24 hours
• Account Actions: Violations will result in content removal and may lead to warnings or account suspension
• Automatic Suspension: Repeated violations or severe breaches will result in automatic account suspension or permanent ban

Intellectual Property Rights

AI-Generated Recipe Conversions

Service Description

• AI Technology: We use Anthropic's Claude AI service to convert recipes to vegan alternatives
• Suggestions Only: All conversions are suggestions and should be reviewed for accuracy
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or success of converted recipes
• User Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying converted recipes before cooking

Disclaimers

• Dietary Restrictions: AI conversions may not account for all dietary restrictions or allergies
• Food Safety: Always follow proper food safety guidelines when preparing any recipe
• Nutritional Information: Nutritional data is estimated and may not be completely accurate
• Professional Advice: Consult healthcare professionals for specific dietary needs

Indemnification

Termination

Termination by You

• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
• Immediate Data Deletion: All your data is permanently deleted immediately upon account deletion

• Subscription Cancellation: Cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• Engage in illegal activities
• Abuse or misuse the App
• Fail to pay subscription fees (though payment is handled by Apple)

Effect of Termination

• Access Removal: Your access to the App will be immediately terminated
• Immediate Data Deletion: All personal data is permanently deleted immediately upon account termination
• Survival: Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination

Changes to Terms

Modification Rights

• Updates: We may modify these Terms at any time
• Notification: Updated terms will be posted in the app. You can view the current version at Settings → Terms of Service
• Acceptance: Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
• Rejection: If you do not accept changes, you must stop using the App

Geographic Restrictions and Governing Law

• Restrictions: Not available in countries where iOS or our AI service provider is restricted
• Local Laws: You are responsible for compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction

Governing Law

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions
• Dispute Resolution: In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations
• Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within 30 days, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be India

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.
